FWSA Ski Week 2022 - Aspen Snowmass Jan. 29-Feb. 5, 2022--Registration is Open!
Sierra skiers, travelers, families and friends, save the date for FWSA Ski Week 2022. We will be adventuring into Aspen Snowmass. One lift pass gives you access to 4 incredible mountains, 41 lifts, and over 5000 acres of skiing. Our group will be staying in Snowmass Village. Register early since space will be limited. Lodging choices, pricing and other details are at the Travel tab above.

Far West Ski Association Annual Convention Moved to Oct. 7-10. After much discussion FWSA has decided to give all concerned more time to get through the pandemic, get vaccinations, and move further down the road, to a better level of comfort. An agreement has been reached with the convention site, the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley to now hold a Fall Event Oct. 7-10.

Racing for 2021 is Canceled. Our race directors for Sierra, Open and Singles Leagues worked hard to schedule races for this season, but the resorts have canceled the races that were scheduled. The championship races scheduled at Mammoth for April 10-11 are also canceled.  Racers who have raced with Sierra in the past should have received a message from our race director Nan Carnal. The full message from the race directors is posted on at the Races tab above. Racing will resume in 2021-2022. See you then!
