Announcing Details for Sierra Council Travelers to Steamboat
TRIP OVERVIEW
We hope you save the date to join us for the 2024 Far West Ski Week trip to Steamboat, Colorado. As a member of a Sierra League & Council, you are eligible for all the great discounts and benefits of this trip. Your days will be filled with activities both on and off the mountain.
What is the Cost?
$1,770.00 pp, double occupancy
The lodging and amenity package for Sierra travelers is $1,770.00 per person. This price includes:
7 nights lodging at Eagle Ridge, a resort style, luxury, condo complex.
Welcome Party, Race Events, Mountain Tours, Après Events Including an Ice Skating Party and Banquet with Dancing,
Optional costs: discounted multi-day lift tickets, equipment rentals, air and ground transportation.
What is our lodging option? 😴 🛁 🛏
Eagle Ridge is an upscale 4-star complex of 2 bedroom/2 bath condos. Amenities include hot tubs, a swimming pool, workout facilities, internet access, on-call and loop shuttles, laundry facilities and free parking. This property is in a great location and within 200 yards of the gondola, restaurants, and shops.
What about lift tickets? 🚡🎿
We recommend that participants purchase the IKON pass for the best value on lift tickets. Details will be announced soon with an online link from our travel vendor Sports America Tours.
Adult/Senior lift ticket will also be available at group discounted prices.
How do we get to Steamboat? 🚗 ✈
Group air and ground information will be posted as soon as information is available.
Driving is a popular option for Sierra Council participants, but if you plan to arrange your own transportation, Denver International Airport is approximately 3.5 hours and Yampa Valley/Hayden airport is 30 minutes from the resort.
Are there activities for nonskiers? 🐴 🎢 ⛄ 🏃 ⛸ 🏊
Yes, yes, nonskiers are encouraged to join us in Steamboat. There are many local activities off the ski mountain that can be booked individually. Examples are Strawberry Park Hot Springs, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, Steamboat Springs Health & Recreation Center mineral pools. The town of Steamboat Springs is charming with many galleries and great eateries. We are sure there are skiers that would enjoy a day off the mountain and join you in these activities.
